I have family that has praised the Kansas City steaks. I just bought a new electric grill and have been looking at both KC and Omaha. I decided I just won't pay those prices for 5-6 oz. I'll take my chances at the supermarket with meat I can see and feel, if need be. It's not the prices per se, but the smaller than normal sized portions - THAT is the ripoff IMO. I have also heard/read many people say that the "gourmet" meat featured is no better tasting than steak you can buy at a good market with a good butcher.

ITA, Omaha is definitely much better than KC. I just tried their new Brisket Burgers and they are really good, but, I only order from them when I can get free shipping.

Omaha for us too.

Used to always order KC from Q but ran into too many 'bad' steaks in a row and stopped. While Q was always willing to send a replacement, it was a hassle.

Omaha was gifted to us and we have stayed w/ them for 2 yrs. Never had a bad one!

I do LOVE KC Spiral Bone-In Ham....best I ever had...and their beef hotdogs are great too.

Just stopped ordering their steaks.

Try Omaha's hot dogs. They are really good and I am very picky about dogs.
