OT- Food Network Show/Hunger

Just watched the program and was more shocked than ever at the amount of young children in OUR country without food. Couldn't help but wonder how we, on these blogs, can freely discuss food and recipes and not be moved by the desperation of others. This is not an indctment of anyone here.
