I really like Polish Kielbasa, or Polish sausage......SAM's quit carrying a lot of things, where I live, because they remodeled and made the store larger, to only carry less.......
Now all I have to choose from is Eckrich, Hillshire Farm, and Carolina Pride...YUK!!!! I have been looking and hunting, and searching.....I found one place, that with shipping and handling, for a couple of pounds, was over $4000 dollars...
Now, I understand that when a place is low on something, they will post this kind of price, and then drop it when their stock is back up to par.........BUT....Can someone recommend a brand that is tried and true, and does not cost me a fortune in S&H, to get. There is a plant in Valdosta, GA, Sunset Farms, but they will not mail order their Polish sausage.....just all of their other sausages, and it is not sold locally, and they will only sell 50 lbs from their store....BUT I do not want/need 50 lbs, especially when I do not know what it taste like.........![]()

Hey Forrest! Nice to see you.
I'm sorry that I couldn't read most of your post because it was just too big, bolded, and all smooshed together. ![]()
I've used the Hilshire Farms one and I guess that's ok for somebody like me who is a VERY infrequent user of this type of thing.
Hope this finds you well!

What brand are you looking for? Some Costcos sell Kiolbassa Polish Style Sausage, although it is on a special tour at the moment. Walmart sells Jacksonville sausage. You are not specific on the brand and your font is not easy to read.

I hope this is better, as I am trying new fonts and colors, my computer and tablet have been acting crazy for almost 2 weeks......
I just hope my dots on every post do not return.....
Thanks for your suggestion........![]()

Where do you live? Try to find it in a neighboring town. It would be worth the drive if you want it so badly.
My mother was Polish (RIP) and she hated the commercial products, She always found a butcher/deli that carried kielbasa and bought some in quantity and froze it. She;d buy a dozen at a time and it would last a year.

I am from eastern MA and always loved Essem Kielbasa. Of course home made kielbasa are even better but if there is not a Polish store around you, you can't get them. Essem is no longer in business but Blue Seal Kielbasa are a close match and quite good. If you type in bluesealkielbasa dot com you can order them from Chicopee Provision in MA.
