Here in New England winter went on forever. We're not quite through with summer yet, in fact, I don't think we'll be through with it for a while.Smile

I live on the east coast and we had a very long brutal winter. I don't mind the cold but the shoveling of snow continually was tiring. I don't mind shoveling snow either. I hate the heat - anything over 80 is misery for me. But this summer is going so much better than last year.

house, I too like the cooler weather, yes, and even the bitter cold and snow. I also love the more DARK hours. I love the dark,,been told "you're a mole". maybe so, it seems to calm me and put me at lease. go figure. I just like it. Moved a bit south now and it's definitely different, but I'm hangin in there.

Nope--if I could live somewhere that was always warm and sunny, I would move in a New York MINUTE!!! I live in WA state where we have 9 months of winter until July 5th and then we get some nice weather. Last summer and this one has actually been pretty decent. No way do I want dark early or gloom and wet, rainy weather for days on end!!!!

Re: O/T: Summer is through with me.

We live in New England and the winters are a lot milder then they were years ago. We actually do not start wearing a winter coat until December. The Fall here used to be harsh but in recent years is a lot warmer. I do not feel that the winter was all that bad last year as compared to years ago. I hate the Summer with the heat and the constant storms. Summers used to be on the cooler side years back and now it is hazy, hot and humid. I am so looking forward to Fall. Also do not like Summer clothing. Everyone always looks like they took their clothes out of the hamper.

Well, I live in Central FL and think that I would like cool, dark, gloomy weather, and I love rain. We get our share of rain here, but that just makes it that much more humid. But I have to admit that when I go home to visit Cleveland, after seeing 3 or 4 days of cloud cover, I am ready to come home to the sunny skies of Florida. Guess I am just missing the seasons. I never complained about the snow and cold during my years in Ohio.

I live for the cooler days, the less intense light, and the 4pm darkness!
