Why do Rachael Ray - and other manufacturers of cookware - make such huge pots? A pan that holds 3 POUNDS OF spaghetti - 2 POUNDS OF mashed potatoes & a POUND of asparagus. It's almost impossible to find a quarter and half saucepan unless you buy a set of 8. I don't need a set - got one - but do occasionally need to replace a smaller "vessel" (as David loves to call them).

What are these manufacturers thinking?{#emotions_dlg.confused1}
