I have read here not to use these sprays on non stick cookware because it can leave a sticky residue(which is hard or can't be removed?) and only use oil which can be put in a misting bottle. But yet I see America's Test kitchen use it all the time on their shows and mentioned it in recipes. Now I've never used these on my cookware, but have used canola spray on my electric indoor griller, which I then scrub clean and seems to be fine. (I had a wafflemaker that I just used only oil on, but after a while the oil started to cause the waffles to stick so I wonder if I would have been better off with the sprays.
