No more fresh cranberries?

I live in NJ and I know cranberries are supposed to be grown here, so why does the market dry up completely after Christmas? I love to make SF cranberry sauce to eat with chicken and stay within my eating plan.

Does any chain market or specialty store have cranberries all year 'round?
