I have some questions. Is this like the Nesco and does this replace your Slow Cooker? I also read while cooking if you put it on the lowest setting, you will have to add more liquids while cooking because it cooks away? The last question someone asked on Facebook.

I think it replaces a slow cooker, but I don't know for sure. I looked online while I was at work and saw there was a 20 minute video of the TSV, but I couldn't watch it at work. When I got home, the video that was up was a minute and a half, and it gave all the colors, but it never actually told you what the device did. I tried to see the video last night, but at that time, it was a 5 minute video that didn't show much about what the product did.

The Q's approach to videos is ridiculous. You'd think that at least for a TSV, they could tell you what the product did.

I own the Ninja 3 in 1, but am not familiar with Nesco. From what I understand Ninja has the ability to sear, heats from the bottom and sides and function as a slow cooker. (Although we've found the slow cooker function cooks much faster than crockery type cookers).

Still a handle gadget, though.
