Re: Ninja Master Prep vs. Other Channel's TSV

I saw this presentation on TV last night. I think this is comparable to the Ninja Storm which I bought when it was a TSV here last year. I liked the disk you could put in to make whipped skin milk and would have bought this if I didn't already have my Storm.

I have the Ninja (never use it). I did this morning buy Wolfgang's TSV and the disk also, I also bought the book that goes with it.

I'm going to send it to my daughter (who will probably throw a fit and say she didn't want it) but she cooks amazing things and I think she'll use it. Ha!

The Puck TS does look like a copy of the Ninja. I agree that the 450Watts and the extra bowls would be a big plus for me, but some people probably don't want to spend $45 when the TS is only $30. I found it interesting that he showed chopping meat and making dough, which the Ninja doesn't even mention but I imagine it does everything that the Puck one does.

ETA: After watching the video, they did show grinding meat.

Re: Ninja Master Prep vs. Other Channel's TSV

I had bought a small Ninja from QVC when it was a TSV. (not this year) I used it once or twice and it's in the box now. Later I bought a larger Ninja from QVC that came in white. Tried it once or twice also. I tried to sell it, but no takers. Will probably give it to a family member. I bought a Vitamix and returned it. After almost a year, I bought another Vitamix and really tried it out. I make a lot of smoothies, etc. with it and I'm happy with the purchase even though it isn't the best-looking item to be out on a counter. I need to learn to make more things with it. That's my story of online shopping!

Re: Ninja Master Prep vs. Other Channel's TSV

Wolfgang's TSV should not be compared (to be fair) with the Ninja Master Prep, but rather with the Ninja Storm (K39392) which is also 400 watts and closer in price. Think when I bought it as a TSV last year it was $29.95. That said, the Ninja Master Prep is probably a better buy and one I would get if/when my Ninja Storm wears out.
