I need to replace the pot for my foodi.  I was going to get the original pot but thought maybe I should try the stainless steel pot.  Those of you who have or have used both, which do you recommend?  TIA

Re: Ninja Foodi pot replacement

@Bridgegal   I don't have the Foodi but I've had several pressure cookers.  The Instant Pot I'm using now has a stainless pot and I find that its definitely superior to the Teflon lined ones.  Its just as easy to clean.

I have two Instant Pots and both have stainless steel pots, both are easy to clean.  I purposely looked for stainless steel rather than nonstick and I've been happy with my choice.

@shoesnbags and @Kachina624 reason(s) for preferring stainless vs nonstick?  If clean up is the same I'm guessing SS is less toxic.

@rockygems123  You don't have to worry about scratch the stainless with utensils or scarring the finish.  The stainless is a heavier metal.  I knocked the pot of my Cooks Essentials off the counter and the fall, although not visible, knocked it out of round.  I was unable to replace  it, ruining the cooker.

Yes, I don't have to worry about it ever wearing out, and no worries about anything toxic, either.  Win, win.

@Bridgegal

Don't buy the stainless pot on Amazon.  Gold lion or something. I did and in the middle of cooking it stops and you have to keep repositioning it.

It's a nice pot but it doesn't work properly. I ordered the replacement from Ninja. I use the stainless pot now for mixing ingredients, but it's not convenient for that either because it has no handles or anywhere to grab.

I got taken. Don't do it. I wish I saw your post earlier!

worst website ever.  I've looked and looked and can't find it anywhere.  Anyone know where the heck it is?

I found the original/ceramic pot but not the
SS.

     Where did you get yours?  Ninja apparently no longer sells one and the only other option I can find is the one on Amazon.
