What am I doing wrong? I've made several different ice creams and it keeps coming out crumbly. I did what the manual said and put it back and hit respin and it gets even more crumbly. I love the fact that I could make healthier ice cream but I'm getting so frustrated that it is not coming out like they were showing on TV. Its even worse on the second or third day (I can't eat the entire pint in one sitting). I would appreciate any help. I'm considering returning it...there are so many five star reviews on the product so I'm sure its something I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

@joco728 Are you using the recipes that come with the machine or are you modifying those recipes?

Keep respinning it! I make mine with sugar alternatives and have to spin it at least 4 -5 times to get to the creamy texture. It does get there, I promise! I also read that if you use the Mix-ins cycle, it gets a little creamier, so I always do that as the last cycle, once it gets creamy.
I can't change anything about the freezer temp, but I can promise that for me, the first couple of cycles are very crumbly, but then they get a little chuncky and then VOILA! Creamy ice cream! Like I said - at least 4-5 cycles for me. Keep spinning!

It won't let me edit the reply. So, as far as doing it the next day. Yep, you have to start all over with the Ice Cream button you use (I use Lite Ice Cream) and then with the multipl respins. It has never been a one and done process for me. I don't know how real ice cream works with real sugar, but when I have leftovers, I go through the same thing as the first day and, eventually, it gets creamy.

Thanks Lisa for the tips! I finally got it creamy tonight. Had to do about 4 cycles and it was perfect. I even did an add on and it blended in throughout. Only ate a portion of the container so hopefully tomorrow it will come out just as creamy!
