Ninja Creami

I received my ice cream maker.  Started reading the instruction pamphlet and it said to set the freezer to 7-9 degrees.  I cannot do this with my fridge/freezer.  This was not mentioned in demo.  Does anyone have any info on this?

I ignored that and froze the mix and container overnight.  Used it the next day and the sorbet turned out just fine.
