Ninja Cooking System non stick pot

After one use and one hand wash my new pot has all these lines in it! My husband says its going to get used but I am worried about this and the non stick coating. I used a silicone spatula and a plastic spoon in it. Those who have this is your pot as good as new or do you have any lines? I am thinking of returning it to Bed Bath & Beyond. Do you think they would let me exchange it? Thanks for any input.
