Thanks for posting Poodlepet.

I made pork ribs with a rub. It had liquid to stem cook. The liquid bubbled up and nearly touched the ribs. I turned down the temp. The liquid still bubbled up but the ribs were very good. Very moist. The recipe was for four but I only made enough for 2 so they cooked a lot faster than the recipe.

MKR, I'm so glad you posted your experience with the pork roast as I've been craving it the way my mom made it but wanted to get that same or better outcome with the Ninja. I live in a very small community with small stores and haven't seen a good pork shoulder roast for sale but next weekend I'll have a chance to shop at a larger store.
Your post will come in very handy so thanks for taking the time.
The last thing I made in it was a stuffed pepper soup but I didn't take the decreasing liquid into consideration so most of the liquid was soaked up by the rice. Good flavors but more like a stew than a soup in consistency. We had it for a couple meals and frankly, the rest has been flavoring the dogs' kibble.

Well, the ribs were fall off the bone tender but DH and I did not like the rub. Also, the beef broth used boiled down to nothing and I had to add additional liquid.

I have made three recipes with the new Ninja cooker. Thai BBQ Pork ribs, Italian pot roast, and white turkey chili (I used chicken)
All 3 recipes were edible, but none were rave reviews. The meat was tender, and I love being able to saute, sear, and finish the meal all in one pot. The Ninja temperature control does run hot.
The cooker is great. I am going to try some of my own recipes and fine tune them for the Ninja.
