Ninja Air Frier Foodi

[ Edited ]

I bought this and used it twice on the weekend.  I tried corn on the cob and pork loin.

I am just learning.  I cooked the pork loin for 20 minutes on Roast and found it tasty (balsamic reduction with garlic slivers imbedded) but dry.  It has a meat thermometer.

I did not really like the corn but DH did.

when do you choose the 'air fry' function.

Is there a cookbook you would recommend?

Any other tips?  I think I am going to like it but just have to get used to using it.

I am so glad that I just read your post about the Ninja Fryer.  I use the air fryer for french fries and they do come out delicious.

I use the toast key alot but alas I ama lost on the other methods.  A cookbook for this product would be great for me!  Also, I do get confused about & when to use the other selections.  It looks so simple when I watched the presentation but I was lost when I received the oven.

Mabe someone reading your post and mine can help us out.  Baking?  Roasting??how to use, how to keep grease from dripping over what you are cooking??

I think additional data is needed when I received the oven.  Maybe someone out there can help us.

Thank you, in advance of your assistance.

If you eat pizza, heating leftover pizza is great. I usually do 375 for 4 or 5 minutes. Frozen french fries are good too. Heating up fried chicken in it works great! So great to not have to turn the oven on. Do you have the grill function? When I can't find info on what I want to do, I just google it. I did not like grilling onions and peppers. Good luck and enjoy!

Yes this company has a cookbook with 175 recipes, it came with the Foodie. I seldome look at it because most foods now come with air fry directions. Also Blue Jean Chef has an air fryer book.go to Google put in what you want to cook and they will give you instructions. thats what I do now. The only thing I ever bought from HLN was this , it was a special and it came with a cookbook.if I recall, anyways I have one and I;m sure thats how I got it.

I buy papers from ,  Amazon, looks like pie bowls, and it saves me from cleanin g everytime. However do not put in and start machine without something in it, because the fan will suck it up and start burning it, I never preheat my machine and cook mostly on 400. This is a lesson I learned when I first got mine. I also use tongs, and discard the paper after each time. You really get a lot of them and not expensive at all. Hope this helps.
