I really need to replace my skillets.  I have no idea what to purchase, anyone one want to tell me what they like and would purchase again?  What I have is non stick, which is no longer non stick.

I still have one piece of Reere Ware, that was my moms, it has worn like iron!  It's a double boiler.

thanks for any advice.

I buy my non-stick skillets at Costco.  They wear well for quite a while, and are reasonably priced.

We replace skillets as needed ( no sets ). Last week we bought a non stick Calphelon fromTjmaxx for $39 and DH is getting a 3 quart Breville ,covered (Amazon $80). Our older son, who is a professional chef, is getting a 5 quart covered Breville, also from Amazon.  Bedevilled makes great appliances and pans ; we already own the 5 quarter covered Breville we are also giving to son.

I have been happy with the Calphalon and OXO brands. I try to get Calphalon at Home Goods and got a good deal on OXO at Kohl's awhile back.

I splurged but got a set of Green Pan. It is really nice but I also treated myself to a made in skillet wow never had anything like it. I will be buying the other sizes of nonstick skillet in this brand. The Green Pan is light weight great non stick and easy clean up. The made in skillet I got in the 8 inch and I never had a egg skillet like this. Not heavy and it just cooks beautifully. Read reviews. Good luck.

@Mom2Dogs  I also have some 1940s/50s RevereWare. Still like new. Unbelievable.

I find I only need nonstick skillets. For everything else, stainless steel is fine.

I live alone and have purchased an 8" fry pan, a 6" grill pan and a 6" griddle. I use them frequently. Quick to wash!

Have fun making your decision.

The Ninja NeverStick pans are excellent. My friend owns an entire set and she said they are the best pans she's ever cooked with.  She has owned many brands, too. The NeverStick pans come with a lifetime warranty. How many other pans have that? The reviews are stellar and if I needed new pans I would buy them.

Recently I had a 40% off at Kohls.  I bought 2 Ninja skillets and I love them!

I also have a small, 10 in, skillet/griddle pan that I got at Costco.  It was under $20 and is a brand called The Rock.  I love it for making grilled cheese sandwiches and eggs. My Costco still has them.

@Mom2Dogs  Check out Our Place, and their Always pan.  It is on sale now, but they are running out of colors.  They only have two pieces and I have both and really like them.

Here is their description:

THE ALWAYS PAN REPLACES YOUR
fry pan, saute pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, saucepan, non-stick pan, spatula, and spoon rest.

WITH THE ALWAYS PAN, YOU CAN
braise, sear, steam, strain, saute, fry, boil, serve, store - you get the picture.

The pans are light weight and can be used on any cooktop.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
