After much thought I ordered K43826. It's a 4.5 quart with a 3 qt bowl. 4 attachments and a mail in rebate for a free food grinder. I got the pink it is beautiful. Also free shipping

That's the one I bought too, the pale pink. It's gorgeous.

It arrived from Q, damaged. Bolt was sticking out from the side, made awful noise when the beaters wasn't set right.

I called Kitchen aid they sent me a new replacement one and return postage label for the defective one to send back in same box the new one came in. 

READ DIRECTIONS no one else does LOL

Read whee it says adjust the screw to the right or left if you want to raise the beaters. They say their set at the factory, but, I think a man does it who never used a mixer in his life. I had to adjust the screw to the left to raise the beaters on the new one. Seems like you may have to do it depending on the bowl size. 

I really like the flex edge beater. My full size Cuisinart was less trouble to tell U the truth, but, I just liked Kitchen Aid colors LOL so now I got both sitting out on the counter. Wish Cuisinart would come out with a smaller stainless steel bowl. I even contacted them . Looks like they would want the trade.

Read my lips............After unpacking any kitchen gadget. Sit down and read the information that comes with it. Usually only couple of pages.

Tips and need to know information, so, you won't run to the phone and holler "this is broke, the beaters are beating against the bowl and it's making a clanging , banging sound".  Time it takes you to call and stand in the Q waiting for somebody to help you , you would had already had the time to read the book and fix it yourself.

Don't use a mandoline without the guard

Watch the can opener edge/let the magnet pluck off the lid or stick fork down in it instead of using fingers . I learned that the hard way.

King Arthur has a lot of good bread recipes by the way.

I'm itching to buy the new mini....gave my kitchenaid mixer to my daughter-in-law when I moved to a retirement community last year....I'm impressed with the smaller/lighter scale. I'm trying to hold out in hopes that the Q will offer it soon.

better then nothing LOL She might try Amazon.   I got it straight from the Mod in the link I sent that Q for whatever reason is not going to have them in the immediate future.
