I think Bird of Paradise would be a beautiful pop of color to any kitchen, no matter what the color theme happens to be.

It is a very pretty color. I don't pay attention to what matches or goes with my kitchen. I have all kinds of colors. KitchenAid mixer is colbalt blue, kuerig is a pink orchid color, kitchenAid hand mixer is turquoise. Have a cooks essential pot that is marine blue and I liked it so much I bought a red one. I bought them cuz I liked the colors they were. This way, I can change up my kitchen now & then and not have to spend lots of $$ to decorate. Just highlight what color I want for a while.

I'm not brave enough to do that, but I think it is very cool.  Lots of colors looks wonderful!   Smiley Happy

But I find that I feel comfortable, for me not judging anybody else's choices, with my favorite black with red accents for my kitchen.  I do have some purple and tangerine in both my Fiesta and Lock & Lock, though.  When they first started colors in L&L they didn't have red so my first set with color was their original tangerine (soft, yet vibrant shade).

I also have a rainbow of colors for small knives and enjoy lining them up along the bottom row of the knife block like a rainbow.  Pretty!  Smiley Happy

Oh,  that's  PRETTY !

And it would look great on my cobalt blue countertop.

I don't care for a mish-mash of colors.  I need a theme.  (A theme that isn't mish-mash.)

I LOVE that color but my fav is the color they call cranberry--to me it is fushia pink and if I were to buy a new mixer it would be that color. I have many different colors in my fiestaware dishes so adding a pop of color is just what I do. Everything matchy-matchy is so boring and dull.
