My Dad had Breyers hand packed ice cream in his store when I was a kid..I stopped buying  at the supermarket years ago...To me it's horrible..My favoite back in the day was Blueberries and cream..and my Siblings loved Peach..these were specials in the summer..and we all hand packed it to order.

Right now I'm OK with Friendly's at the supermarket.

I am not an ice cream fan and usually pass, but one time I tried the Almond Joy flavor from Ben and Jerry while vacationing in Virginia.  OMG, I fell in love.

I've never had it since and heard it was discontinued.  Now, I can't wait to try Breyer's version.

This might spell trouble for me.  I am a big Almond Joy fan!

Like many other products Breyers ice cream isn't what it used to be.  I had heard that they can't or don't call their "ice cream" that anymore because of ingredients used.  They now call it "Frozen Dairy dessert".

I get my ice cream from a local shop that makes their own handmade.  It's more expensive but it's a treat with whole ingredients and they have great flavors!

@Calibeach  I'm still checking.  I live in a tri-state area.

I think we live somewhat close to each other.  I saw the almond joy in target, but they only had that one flavor and very few.  I'm on the hunt for my all time favorite creamsicle.

Fair, but we don't all live near a local ice cream shop.

I love Breyers and always have.  I don't really care what they call it or have to call it.  My Breyers vanilla will always be in my freezer for life.

Breyers still makes 100% ice cream.  They also make frozen desserts...like the new products mentioned by the OP and Carb Smart, which is a low carb/low calorie dessert.

Oh wow. They look delicious. I love breyers chocolate peanut butter ice cream.  When we get it its a little melted . I usually get a spoon and eat a few or several spoons of it.

I bought the Breyer's Strawberry Shortcake ice cream today and all I can say is I love it!!

I'm in trouble with this one, so I need some will power - LOL!!  They didn't have the Almond Joy or Creamsicle and maybe that is a good thing!  I'd like to try those also.

Other posters have said they can't find it in their local stores.  I live in Long Island and found it at my Stop N Shop.

I totally forgot to come back and post about this: I looked up the new flavors on the interwebs and discovered that they are rolling out initially at 7-11 locations and some other convenience stores. Apparently, Family Dollar may also have them in many areas. Hopefully, they'll become more broadly available in other stores soon, but this should at least get you started if you really have a craving...  Smiley Happy
