I bought K40159 and love the pieces in it. I use all of them a lot. But one of the reasons I purchased was for the lid-its they come with. I find food lasts longer for us when stored in something that has NO plastic, not even a plastic lid. Of course I still use some plastic but I use these types of dishes when possible.
K40159 isn't exactly the same as the concentric bowls set but perhaps some of you will like it instead since apparently you can't order these again for a year?
K40160 is the Floral Lace version of the set I got. Both have quite a few colors left including browns and oranges although I don't see any Fallfetti ![]()

AuntG, I haven't had the cracking problem either but I do keep my eyes open for any "crazing" (tiny cracks usually all over the piece.) I have a 32 year old Pfaltzgraf dish that was a wedding gift that has developed crazing and told hubby we have to throw it out. I'm afraid it will break one of these times we use it.
I know some people have said their pieces broke out of the blue but many others are talking about the "crazing" and the fear that they will break. For now I'm not going to stop baking in them unless they show those little cracks (crazing.) BUT if you are concerned about any bakeware and not sure if it may/may not be a problem just use a metal baking sheet under them so you don't have to worry just in case they do crack. I have several of those that are like jelly roll pans, with a lip all around the edge so if something spills it won't leak everywhere.
I think it's just common sense to take that precaution if you are worried but don't yet want to stop using the dishes in the oven. That's what I plan to do ![]()

what a waste of money to have bakeware you can't use! I have not ordered any after reading about all the problems with cracking

The colors are nice and coordinate with my kitchen well enough, even though the paint job is inconsistent. I'm keeping the bowls but find that one of the plastic lids is way too big for the intended bowl. .
Since you guys are experienced with this line, is the best course to call the Q customer service or directly to Temptations? Thanks for the help.
WOW, the paint job is inconsistent AND one of the plastic lids is way too big. Two issue with just one set. Makes one wonder, of the 1000's of sets sold how many unhappy customers there are going to be. I have heard the CC at TT is really bad. I would return them to QVC.
Maybe if enough people return them things will change. If the product is defective, and it sound like it is, the Q will credit your return S&H.

AuntG, I understand about you might be worried about possible cracking but you know that Temp-tations has many other uses besides baking in them. They are great for using for cold items as well as hot/warm items. Potato salads, fruit salads, etc. And you can always put rolls/biscuits in the bake ware to serve in. Just a few ideas so you won't just have to "look" at your Temp-tations.

TT is advertised as being able to go into the oven and, therefore should be able to be used in the oven without fear of the product breaking and possibly injuring someone. Why take up space in your cupboards with pieces that cannot be used in the oven or microwave? Doesn't make sense to me.

I waited a whole year for new pieces in Harvest pattern, and they were sold out before I even got to see them. I am seriously honked off at QVC for this rotten tease. I certainly won't be buying anything else from Temp-tations until I see the Harvest pattern again.
