Any ideas. We make about 4 cups a day. Just coffee,no bells and whistles. We do not care for flavored coffees.

It sounds like a good old-fashioned drip pot would suffice
Personally, I'm a big fan of the Ninja Dual Brew. It can use loose grounds to make a single cup or a pot, or k-cups to do a cup at a time. You can also draw hat water from it for tea or instant soup.

If you want to stay with pods, we love our Cuisinart. Easy to clean. If you want both pods and a pot try the Ninja. Our friends have this and love it when their kids visit or they have company.

I've got the Ninja single brew coffee maker. You can also make ice coffee and fancy brews with it. I purchased the sage color which,to me, is really a gray-sage color.
I never brew pots of coffee so the k-cups are perfect for me.
Personally, I've never had much luck with Keurigs. But, that's probably just me.

I've have a basic Cuisinart coffee maker that I've had for many many years. I can make a full pot or just one cup. Only problem is it doesn't keep the coffee as hot as I would like, but I only have one cup in the morning so it works for me. I can use any coffee I want without being tied to those awful pods. I bought a Keurig when they first came out and I gave it away after using it a few times. Awful, maybe they have improved.

I got my DD a Keurig for her b-day one year--she used it for awhile and then complained thaat it just didn't make a tasty cup of coffee--we tried everything to it--cleaning wise, changing coffee brands, using her own coffee, using bottled water and it never made a good cup of coffee---so she just dumped it. Now she has a tiny Mr Coffee and it does a great job!!

My Keurig died and I replaced it with a 20$ single cup maker from Walmart. I like my coffee fresh. So I didn't want a standard coffee pot. I don't use many pods except for sis who likes French Vanillaa Cappucino. I usually use the regular coffee in the insert instead of pods.
So far so good.

I have the Ninja as well and love it. Can use your own coffee or the pods.

I use a regular electric drip coffee pot that can make a whole pot or individual size cup. I'll make 2 pots of coffee as strong as I can and store in the refigerator in a LocknLock pitcher.
That way there's coffee available all week to add water to dilute and warm up in the microwave daily.
A coffee nut friend of mine had it and loved it I was surprised. And she would tell the truth lol.

I have the nespresso espresso machine and one that makes regular coffee. The pods are pricier than the keurig but the taste is much better.
