Need ideas for fresh chives

I planted chives this year for the first time and they are growing faster than I can use them. I am wondering is there a way to dry them or should I freeze them. I am thinking I probably should keep them trimmed down so they will continue to grow but as you can tell I am no gardener...lol{#emotions_dlg.blushing}
