Need help purchasing new dishwasher

Have always (many years!) had a Kitchenaid but this top of the line ,7year old, gently used, just 2 of us, has had many problems. Today it needed a new motor and it is going to dishwasher heaven! I know it is now just a Whirlpool with " a skirt" on it since they are owned by Whirlpool. They are also catching on fire which is very upsetting to me. I have never been one to leave the house with any appliance running but do some times run it when I go to bed. Whirlpool has also been be mention as having this issue also. Anyone have a a Bosch? If,so, do you like, had any problems etc Is there another make I should consider? TIA Babe
