Can u recommend a 2-slice toaster (not toaster oven.)

Wide Slots

Stainless Steel preferred

Small pull-out tray to collect crumbs

Quick toasting

Costco only shows 1 toaster with not so good reviews.

Walmart? Amazon?

It's so hard to find a good toaster --- they don't make them like they used to.

My suggestion would be a Black and Decker or Proctor Silex in the $20-$25 range from Wal-Mart.  I think simpler is better when it comes to toasters.

I also like "simple." I'll check them out on-line. Thx

Last year, I bought a Pioneer Woman toaster from Walmart online. It's cute, but kinda chintzy.  Even so, for as often as I use a toaster (not much), it does the job

I got this Sencor Toaster a couple years ago and have been very pleased with it.  Mine is turquoise; they come in the prettiest colors.  K378616

I bought a new toaster less than a year ago. I like it quite a lot and would buy it again. No buyer's remorse.

Hamilton Beach, model 22794. Ordered through Walmart online.

I bought a Sunbeam 2 slice toaster in Target recently for under $25.  There wasn't much in stock so I took what was available.  It works ok.  It has different settings for bagels, reheat, frozen, but they work the same as the simple toast setting.

One side of bread toasts darker than the other but I can live with it.  I had looked in Walmart first for a toaster but their shelves were bare.

@kivah I would not spend a lot of money on a toaster and would probably head out to Walmart or some place like that.  I toast my bread in my toaster oven and find that the bread stays warmer.  Sometimes I use the toast feature and sometimes the broiler, flip the bread half way, and do the other side.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
