Need Brownie help

Am taking brownies to a funeral dinner tomorrow. I bought a box of Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix. When you make the 9x13 recipe, they come out cakey, I usually make them in a 9x9, and they come out FUDGY!! I want to make the 9x13 so there will be more...any ideas how to make them fudgier? Or richer? TIA
