NINJA COOKING SYSTEM - THAI PORK STEW

If anyone has the Ninja cooking system, you should have a recipe in the cookbook that came with it for Thai Pork Stew. I would love to have the recipe. Also, how do you like your Ninja Cooking System? Do you use it a lot or just tucked away somewhere? Please do tell. Thanks in advance.

Re: NINJA COOKING SYSTEM - THAI PORK STEW

I love the Ninja, in fact using it now to cook spareribs.

Thai Pork stew

1 pork shoulder roast 2 to 3 lbs

Salt & pepper

1 Tablespoon vegetable oil

2 medium red peppers ,cut into 1 inch pieces

3 cloves garlic minced

6 green onions cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces

1/8 cup each teriyaki sauce and rice wine vinegar

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

1 Tablespoon Hot pepper sauce

Hot cooked basmati rice

1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts

Season pork with salt and pepper

Pour oil into pot. Set Stovetop to High and heat oil. Place pork into pot. Cook uncovered 15 minutes or till pork is browned on all sides. Add peppers, half of green onions, garlic, teriyaki sauce, vinegar, and pepper sauce. Set to slow cook high 4 to 5 hours. Cover and cook until pork is tender

Remove pork to cutting board and cut into 1 inch pieces. Stir peanut butter into pot. Return pork to pot. Serve pork mixture over rice. Sprinkle with remaining onions and peanuts.

Re: NINJA COOKING SYSTEM - THAI PORK STEW

Thank you tervuren! On Sunday, when the Ninja cooking system was on, maybe it was another thai-like recipe that included browning meat (not sure if it was pork or beef), then they added vegetables and some sort of thai sauce. Is there another thai-like recipe in the cookbook that uses more veggies than red peppers and green onions?
