I just love my Ninja Coffee Bar, but I'm wondering what kind of coffee everyone prefers to use in it? I'm experimenting with imported Espresso coffee, but it's very expensive. Any ideas out there?

There is a small coffee importer/roaster just down the road from me. I was hooked from the first time I tasted fresh roasted/fresh ground coffee.

Hi @Buck-i-Nana,
That sounds absolutely wonderful, but there is nothing like that near where I live. I did find a good deal on Amazon for Lavazza Cafe Espresso, Medium Grind, that sounds absolutely wonderful. I want something that will take me back to Italy and this one, with chocolate undertones and rich crema, just might do the trick! I can't wait to wake up to my fresh coffee now... ![]()

I just got the ninja coffee bar and I love it also! I have a question about the water container. I just fiqured out today that the water container must be filled to the max line for each brew in order for the ninja to know how much water to dispense for a good cup of coffee. The first two days I was measuring the water myself cause I did not know that it had to be filled. I use bottled water and now have to keep adding water after each brew to keep the level up, just wondering should I empty out the unused water everyday or is it safe to leave it in the container? I have been using starbucks coffee already grinded I bought at walmart but am planning on trying other types too.

@DarlingDino - I've never had to fill the resevoir to the max unless I'm brewing a full pot. I usually brew a half-pot and only fill the reservoir to just a little above the half-pot mark on the reservoir.
If you're brewing daily, I wouldn't worry about emptying the container. If you're not, then I would pour out any remaining water.

I never brew a full pot so rarely fill the water reservoir to the top and it works just fine for a cup, tumbler, or the half pot that I usually use. I never empty any remaining water in it but just fill it to the line for whatever I'm brewing that day. I do empty it and wash the water reservoir in the dishwasher once a week.
