Fiestaware unveiled a new pattern today: The Coastal Collection. I'm not a beachy person by nature, but I think it's quite attractive, blends nicely with many colors, and will probably sell well:

Check out fiestafactorydirect.com for more details—only plates and mugs are currently available, but more options will likely be added as summer approaches...

My neighbor girl, works {now shut down} the Homer Laughlin fiesta plant in Newel, WV.She texted me.last week that    Fiesta, has been bought out and will now be called "Fiesta Tableware Company Steelite International". So I'm sure they will have new  patterns. She will go back to work, when this virus is over.

I love the cups and will have her get me seconds when she goes back to work.I hope they are in differnt colors, I don't like anything blue.

I generally prefer solids, but I like this pattern very much.

It is my fervent hope that they keep production in the US.  That is one of the reasons I buy their dinnerware.

I think it is ok. I prob won't be buying it tho. I am all about the solid colors myself-- altho I do have a few patterns--helloween, xmas, vines and skulls. but like it better than a few of the recent patterns

I was concerned about that, too. I read a couple of articles about the sale, and this is what they said about Fiestaware:

"The existing Fiesta retail business is not part of the sale, and Fiesta's headquarters and manufacturing will remain in Newell."

Apparently, the food service part of the business, whatever that consists of, is what is being sold.
