I am having a Christmas Dinner party next week.

I have the menu chosen - lasagna, ceasar salad, chicken, asparagus.

What can I service for appetizers?  I will be doing a charcuterie tray and also garlic bread.

I would like to serve one or two other appetizers.

One of the girls is allergic to seafood, so probably wont have any.

Spinach artichoke dip or maybe stuffed mushrooms?

Martha Stewart's cheese straws!! Just google it. Easy to make and everyone will love them.

  I receive a Mackenzie food catalog & online  which sells alot of premade frozen foods .

The catlog can give a few ideas of their items  that you can replicate on your own.

@qvc chick - How about a cheese dip or cheese ball. You could also make sausage-cheese balls.

Those mini quiches you can buy in store. The artichoke dip also sounds good.

Everything mentioned sounds great!  A simple favorite of mine is whipped ricotta cheese with honey dip and crackers.

I always bring my own food,specials needs, I think it is rude to put both your host and others attending out. 

Appetizer: I was at a party where mini Reubens were served. Small rye bread slices,sauerkraut,etc you get the picture. Enjoyed by all.

Those barbecue meatballs in a crockpot. Sauce is made w/grape jelly and chili sauce. The frozen meatballs are great not like the ones from long ago.

A cheeseball but the top of has strawberry jelly on it. Just yummy.
