We have this Kerig and was giving us great coffee, but now the coffee comes out burnt and bitter tasting. Took the whole thing apart to clean it; ran vinegar thru it one time then 2 full tank cycles of hot water to clear out the vinegar, then tried bottle water instead of the tap water and stll awful coffee. K cups are not weird ones so now what?? Geez, we've had this machine for 3 years maybe!!!

It is possible to coffee pods are old, I have found that if the pods are not fresh the coffee can taste off

Hi Wagirl!! It truly may be the pods. I got such a bad batch of Dunkin Donuts k cups that I actually had to throw them out. It was horrible, cloudy weak, awful tasting. It was so bad, I won't buy that brand anymore as I had a bag of it that wasn't very good either.
Stay warm, I am and you know why!!!

thanks for the info everyone--it's hard for me to understand about the coffee pods as I don't drink coffee, however when DD uses her fav pod at her job, it tastes just fine but not here at home. They have the same kind machine we do---so mysterious!!!
Yes I do Lioness!!!
