Yes, the parking lot is a nightmare.  I go when they first open to avoid the crowds.  I go every one or two weeks.  It is where I buy my organic potatoes (red, golds, and russets), avocado, garlic, ginger, onions, coconut aminos, beans/garbanzos & kidney, mushrooms, bell peppers, frozen peas, frozen corn.....all organic at fairly reasonable prices.  Trader Joe's is a staple in my life.

My local TJ's is my go-to grocery store.  I go there at least once a week.  Parking is difficult later in the day, but I go during the early to mid-morning hours and don't have a problem with parking.  Love my TJ's!!!!!!!!!

I really don't see the appeal of Trader Joe's. I tried shopping there a few times and walked out empty handed. Yes, the parking is terrible. I would rather drive across the street and shop at my Meijer store.

Trader Joe's is different and we enjoy shopping there on occasion. The parking is a total turnoff, though.

I guess I’m in the minority, our TJ’s has a large, well designed parking lot. No problems getting in or out.

But I am miffed because they discontinued their sesame pretzels that were really good.

Parking isn't a problem at the TJ where I shop.  However, I never go on Sunday or in the afternoon.  One thing I appreciate is if the line has more than two or three people, they call for someone to open another checkstand.  Also, they bag your items the best of any store--freezer or fridge items together, etc.

I went to Trader Joe's at 6:30 pm this evening.  Parking lot much better than during the day.

I find my Fresh Thyme is better for meat and produce and Trader Joe is better for packaged and convenience items. TJ’s parking lot is awful, Fresh Thyme’s is fine.

Horrible parking seems to be a pattern with TJ's. You would think it would be taken into consideration when looking for a good location for a store.

Lol! I think it’s a prerequisite when they pick out a location.

Does it have terrible parking? SOLD!

Hee!  There are three TJ's within a reasonable distance from me and at two of them you could literally show up driving a Winnebago and find parking.  The one closest to me . . . . yeah not so much . . . .

I live in a very large city that has just about any grocery , but  the 2 T.J.s are extremely popular and many communities beg them to open another store in thier area.

The ones that I shop at are always busy but I  admire the fast and efficient way they move the checkout along. It  never seems like you need to have packed a suitcase for your wait like say Wal-marts!
