My Missing Lock n Locks Are Back.

I have sent food home to my son over the years saying, "just bring my Lock n Locks back."  Ha, they never came back. Truthfully, it really didn't matter, my kids can have anything of mine they can use or they want. It was just a running joke.

He and his ex-wife are together again, though not getting remarried.

She just brought me 2 bags of my Lock n Locks. She said she found out they were mine.

If someone would have told me 11 years ago when they split she and I would be laughing about him hoarding my containers.....I would have said they were nuts.

DOn't know why they split, but maybe they found that the grass is greener on the other side of ANY fence because..

MORE fertilizer.

ESPECIALLY the "organic" kind that goes by another name I can't use here!!!

I had to go to saving deli containers because nothing I sent with DS EVER returned even though I asked.

@Othereeeen   DS did not want a divorce.  Let's just say her boyfriend was no prize.

However, DS is willing to give it a chance and I don't want to ruin my relationship with him.  They are both adults, mid to late 40s.  Their lives, their choice.

He has a house and a couple of acres 4 miles from me.  She bought a beautiful townhouse near her parents, and her work, about 12 miles from where we live. She is at his house 90% of the time. It seems to be working for them.

I buy disposable "bento" boxes at Costco and plastic deli containers from Amazon for sending leftovers with our kids.

If I take soup to my mother in an old yogurt tub, she’ll set it aside to return it. I have a large enough collection of plastic containers that I don’t care what gets returned.

@ECBG after I realized that my cake plate was never coming home I started giving my daughter things in and on dollar store containers, disposable aluminum pans or paper plates!

I knew I would have to kiss them good-bye as they were leaving if I gave her something in my covered pyrex storage bowls.

I did get the cake plate back after 2 1/2 years.  They were making room in the kitchen for baby items and found it.
