Working so hard trying to get this pig pen of a home in order for the inspection tomorrow. Zipped to the store and bought Marie Calendar's dinner. They are very large and quite filling. Everyone seemed happy so that is that. Now if only I could still get those two - mother and son, aka Davey and Shannon - to shake a leg. They take one step make another mess and then say they are working hard. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee;. Just say a prayer come tomorrow a.m. I will pass. This is an annual inspection re the children. This house is a mess but they do not only check the house - they walk every step of the property, check sheds - just looking for something to complain about. Cannot stand those people quite frankly. I need to shut up.

Merry Christmas one and all - you still have a few days left to get something else. Got Ricky a toddler bed today. Darn it, no way now  to put him in bed for time out, he can walk right out of it. But, alas, it had to be done.

@Winifred  Hope all goes well today. Smiley Happy  My Mother would call her house a dump, lol, but fortunately for me, it wasn't.

Re: My Goodness - December What's Cooking is here

Well the house and I sailed thru the home assessment and he said the other one - checking my life's history, LOL - I would sail thru that one also. Remember this will be the third time I have had to tell them my life's story. That does NOT mean there is clear sailing ahead but at least they will not be removed in minutes. I am trying to find someone who will clear their assessments to help me - just that simple. NO, Shannon will not pass and that has been made abundantly clear. Knowing her background makes sense to me. She is my granddaughter but she has had many stumbles since her Mother died but then she has done NOTHING to turn her mistakes into productive achievements. Only SHE can do that.

Tonight had honey barbecued chicken, garlic French Fries and plain old corn. Shame on me, NO GREEN VEGGIE, my parents and grandparents are surely turning over in their graves. LOL. Have also gotten away from ONE FRESH veggie - that was always and I have done that for years but now it just seems to be that one step too much. What a shame as I am a firm believer in fresh veggies.

We just went thru a thunderstorm - that is more than rare out here. David had never experienced it before - said he loved it. Told him I grew up with those things keeping me company and I also dearly love them. What can I say.

Stay warm everyone.
