My Goodness - December What's Cooking is here

[ Edited ]

Tee Hee - Forgot to post anything except the title. Guess I got carried away. Speaking of that it is getting colder and nearing dark outside and I have NOT filled my bird feeders so need to run.

Will have I do not know what yet. Either frozen dinners OR something which can be tossed together in about an hour or so - hope the rest of you are doing better than I am today. LOL

Ready for this month???

Re: My Goodness - December What's Cooking is here

Evening & Thanx @Winifred for starting off this December,  we have turned much cooler, more like cold, here, but it's that time of year, we've been lucky so far but we know Winter is on it's way.

Tonite was leftovers, my favorite meal, no cooking.

Hope to start making some cookies soon.

Enjoy the rest of your day

Re: My Goodness - December What's Cooking is here

Went to Denny's and the little angel decided NOT to be an angel while there. She is getting older by the minute. Well she is still basically an angel but is getting what I call temper snits. Geesh, it sure is from that part of the family - her Grandma is Shannon and tempers fly in that line. sigh. Still sleeps all night however - how blessed is that. Am taking her tomorrow in the a.m. for a well baby check and perhaps shots = who knows. She is  15 months old now. Seems like yesterday she was still a itty bitty baby.Where ion earth does the time go?

Hope all had a super good day - now off to start the December hectic pace. By the way, this has nothing to do with food but got Ricky a Paws Patrol blanket - just adorable and he will love it.

Sleep well one and all. Bev, you are missed.

Spix, you energetic soul. I just do not make cookies much any more. Guess I could but not sure when I would find the time or energy to do it. Now that is pretty bad.

Am literally freezing this morning. Do believe I feel the cold more this morning than any days so far. It is bitter. Heater running overtime and does not seem to have made a dent. Am sure it has but I cannot tell it. LOL.

Dinner tonight? Will think about it - perhaps I can finally get that spaghetti done - a good meal for a COLD day. Tomorrow suppose to get up to 70 - hope so - and the night is not suppose to drop below 40. Well, to me that is still very cold but sure a lot better than this morning.

Have a great day everyone.

Cannot decide.  Last night finished last of Thanksgiving in fridge with as a big hot salad with the bits and pieces.  Now do I do something different or hit what I have stashed away in the freezer?  Maybe I will just eat some plain old lettuce and start dreaming of "sugarplums" ect..... coming three weeks from now.

Becky, thinking will indeed Will it. LOL. I fixed another WOK - had a great garlic bread as go with. The little girl tossed a lot of hers but Ricky did pretty darn good. This Wok dish had asparagus in it - that was a first. I also tossed in some turkey from Thanksgiving and packaged that which was left for the freezer. Also froze the dressing - am hoping that will work - have never done that to dressing but it was soooooooooooo good and I use it with my sandwiches. What can I say.

Another very cold night ahead of us. Brrrrr. Hope everyone stays warm and cozy.

Have a small pork roast in the slow cooker with some baby carrots, sweet onion and bell peppers. Shortly will be adding some red potatoes - that is dinner. Usually do NOT cook the potatoes in the cooker with the rest - have done it but not often - but am lazy - so be it.

Another very freezing day out here in Sou Cal. Last night was one of the coldest I can remember out here - we have some bitter ones but last night the cold went right thru to the bone. Brrr. Both little ones; tossed and turned and had to keep putting their blanket  back on them - interesting in that the little girl who gets cold very easily, will not tolerate a blanket over her for very long. Ricky, who gets hot quickly, keeps his on longer. Go figure.

Hope one and all had a great day. AGAIN I MISS OUR REGULARS - COME ON BACK . I love to see everyone here, newbies, et al but sure miss those who have been stopping by for years - literally.
