Re: My Favorite Pressure Cookers

I am a canner so my go to for that is a Presto stove top.  I could cook in it but I use it only for preserving.

With that said, we own two Cook's Essentials pressure cookers, 4 & 6 quarts.  I use them more as crock pots (they have that feature as well) than a pressure cooker.  The hubby uses it more as a pressure cooker.

@SharkE Most of them are too heavy and bulky for me.  Wimp?  Perhaps!  LOL!!

your not gonna use it like a shoulder bag. Just sit it where your gonna use it and leave it be.

Re: My Favorite Pressure Cookers

I learned to use a stove top Presto pressure cooker when I was in 5th grade. My mom went to work and I was the one to start dinner for the family, as I got home before my parents did. Did lots of meat in it---had no fear about using it---

I bought an electric pressure cooker from the Q, prob Cooks Essentials brand,  that had  the hard anodized insert that I loved.-But then I got the InstaPot and have been a fan ever since--use it alot for most everything. My favorite thing is to make yogurt in it. Green beans are the best in a pressure cooker and love doing the eggs and spuds in it  for a spud salad.

Re: My Favorite Pressure Cookers

I love my Ninja Foodie.  I recently made ribs. Pressure cooked them, then just changed the lid and air fried them to perfection. They were delicious.
