Mrs. Prindables

I know this seems like a strange question, but does anyone know how to cut up Mrs. Prindables apples. I just ordered some and I want it to look nice on my table. They say you can get about 12 pieces out of one apple buy I can't figure out how. If you quarter it and then half that it's only 8 pieces. They always show it sliced and there are never any seeds.
