In all these years, it's the first time I bought them.  I was impressed with the packaging.  They arrived along with many other boxes and I piled the boxes and totally forgot about them until the next day.  I got nervous because I heard we should refrigerated them.  It was funny, I opened the Prindable box and a blast of cold air came out. It was like I had opened the back door. The apples were cool to the touch.  I never saw packaging like that.  Huge!  I sliced on and shared it with a friend over lunch today and they are very good but very, very sweet.  I'll give a few away as gifts to neighbors in my building.  I'm giving 4 of them to my niece to give to her little daughter's teachers, the principal and the librarian.

First time and last time I will order them. I should have kept to my rule of NOT ordering food online. They came packaged really well. I put them in the fridge - a few days later I took one out for snacking later. About 2 hrs went by and I could barely cut it. The apples are very hard and the caramel was very salty and very little caramel - not like the presentation at all. The chocolate was good. The sprinkle ones were not good. So sorry I gave them away to kids for Christmas. Now I have 4 apples in the fridge that will probably end up in the trash. Not good - like me throwing out $58 and getting nothing.

Yet!! I learned a very valuable lesson that I will never forget. Smiley Happy

Call customer service if you are unhappy--they will credit your account and no sending food back is required--I have ordered them many times --everytime they were delicious and in pristine condition. they are harder to cut when they are coated in all that stuff but shouldn't be that hard after 2 hours---you got a weird batch, I guess

Was in Walmart, they had a different brand of huge choc covered apples, marked down to $2.15 each, in the refirg. case. My only fear is that they would not be fresh on the inside. Most likely been on the shelf for a month or more.

We love Mrs. P's apples and order a set of the triple chip every year for our "Elf Friday" holiday party on the day after Thanksgiving. Even though we have lots of homemade treats, people would be very sad if we didn't have these apples as well. There has only been one year in the last 10 or so when we were unhappy with the apples, and that was when the traditional Granny Smiths were replaced by mealy red ones without any notice. We contacted customer service and got a partial refund because the apples really did not taste good; we had a hard time finishing the batch.

As an interesting note, this year, we tried an experiment and set one apple aside to see how long it might last with all that caramel and chocolate covering it. We placed the apple in a crisper drawer and cut into it six weeks after receiving the shipment (the recommended freshness time is three weeks), and it was still fresh and delicious.

I have accidently left one in the crisper drawer longer than that and it was still good==maybe even a couple months.

I just received the ones with the Halloween sprinkles.  Had one yesterday and not overly impressed.  Apple was watery and not much flavor or carmel on it either.

I had the apples a few years back and delicious but these not so much.

Packaged very well and look so pretty but think I would rather make my own with the apple of my choice.  Sharing with my daughters family and waiting to hear what they think.

I had ordered some for Christmas time but think I will have to cancel.
