@ECBG-------garlic bread falls into the category of something I love but forget to eat.....I never think to make it but, on occasion, will think to order with dinner.

The Pioneer Woman has a recipe for the bread that is totally over the top and literally makes me swoon !

@BeccaLou-----the notation of "1 loaf onion bread" was the recipe heading not an ingredient......if you look right down, it states 1 loaf French bread with which to make the onion bread.

@BeccaLouIf your post was for me, I use sliced French Bread and add the melted butter and grated onion meat and liquid.  The mixture is brushed on one side of the bread.
