I love all kinds of nuts, so I would just grab a handful and whatever nuts happen to end up in my palm will all get eaten.  I am an equal opportunity nut eater.  Lol

I don't buy them often since they are so high in calories, now I want some nuts.

I buy my nuts separately as opposed to mixed.  Even though nuts are a good snack and have healthy fats, some are on the high side when it comes to carbs so I need to be mindful of that.  I keep jars of almonds, pecans, pistachios, macadamia nuts, and walnuts. One of my go to desserts is a little unsweetened coconut chips, some pecans, and KF SF chocolate chips.  Take a little of each for a bite.  Lily makes a SF caramel chip.  Sprinkle some of them in and it's kinda like a turtle mix.  I also like the combo of macadamia nuts and KS SF white chocolate chips.

I have never liked peanuts.  I prefer to leave them.

First off, I wouldn't buy a container of nuts that contained peanuts and pistachios.  After that, I'd just grab a handful making sure there's a brazil nut in the mix since those are usually the smallest amount.

I get a Costco bag of just Brazil nuts that I keep separately for the selenium.

Do you just grab a handful from the top, or do you pick them out in some specific order?

I start with a mixed handful and then take a few almonds.

I thought this was going to be a math word problem to solve, until I got to the second paragraph.

I'll take the cashews, pistacchios, pecans and peanuts, and eat every one of them! The squirrels can have whatever hubby doesn't eat! (He'll want the cashews for sure so I'll have to share them with him).

I shake a few into my hands and if there are Brazil nuts in there, I rotate the container until I get one.  Fortunately, I love, really love all nuts.

My husband picks out the ones he wants....usually the pecans first.

I try to buy the containers of mixed nuts without peanuts.  Costco and Sam's Club sells wonderful mixed nuts.....and chocolate covered ones too. Oh, the yummy chocolate covered almonds, they are really great.

I don't buy Mixed Nuts because I only like the peanuts, almonds cashews and an occasional pistachio.
