Yeah, this is why I don't go for the peppered gravies. I like pepper fine but it seems like those always have too much pepper.

I think just about everyone that had a dad in the army in the 60's came home with the receipe for SOS. My Mom would make it alot. Trisha Yearwood had it on her cooking show one day.

My gosh I learn something new everyday. The only gravy I see in the stores here is the brown gravy in the jar. Now I have a hankering for sausage and biscuits.

Use equal parts of fat & flour, let the flour cook a bit, add milk and stir.
The fat can be butter.
It's not rocket science
Pioneer Brand makes decent gravy packets.
For some of us it is like rocket science......LOL
