• Why make a huge deal about David's Mother's MILESTONE birthday and then not tell us what it is? Sounds kind of silly. If you've achieved 80 or 85 or 90, that should be celebrated and not hidden away.

Not watching @akxss but the manners people say it is not polite to state women's ages.  And I think David appeals to old fashioned values.  Not sure because not watching.  But I know many feel that way.

David has stated his mom doesn't want her age mentioned. I'm guessing, since David is over 60, so his mom is probably 80 or 90.

Take some medication to calm down.  I have never heard of advertising a milestone birthday and then not saying what it is.  That just seems silly to me, OK?

She is 90!! I think that is just wonderful. I have been verified and I looked it up there. We should all be so lucky. And she looks great!!

Today at the end of Mass, the pastor asked where is Miss

_______?   She raised her hand and the priest acted on the request of her daughter.

Today is a very special day and the time for a special blessing for Miss_____who is 99 today.

The woman beamed and raised her hand to the congregation.  The applause was deafening !!!

I want to be there next year...100.  The woman was beautiful and needed a rolling walker that her daughter managed for her.

And that should be celebrated. I was not saying that David should have been going against his Mother's wishes which of course he shouldn't have. But his Mother was comfortable enough for the announcement of a birthday and that it was a milestone and her calling in and all that and simply thought it unusual to abstain from not wanting the age disclosed when 90 is wonderful (which I didn't know) and a badge of honor.
