Says the nonstick is FDA approved for PTFE nonstick. It is not PFOA free and does not contain BPA. I dont know what all that means.

Basically, it is Teflon.
PTFE is an abbreviation for the chemical formula for Teflon. PFOA is a toxic chemical used in manufacturing PTFE-coated cookware; although harmful, it is burned off in manufacturing. BPA is a plasticizer -- not really used in cookware.
I am sure many others will spew off claims that they have read online (but do not really understand). It is up to you to decide if you want to use a Teflon-coated pot.
