I appreciate this recommendation. I ordered a half-dozen plates (partial neutral, partial green) for an amazing price!

These are my summertime staple! I have seashell ones I have forever, but the ones I use most often are white with a striped rim of washed blue and red.

I bought these from Valerie Parr Hill in navy to mix with them: H225959

Congratulations on your pretty plates @SharkE ! They're so different. What color did you get? I like them all !    Smiley Happy

your plates are pretty. My sister would die for the blue, she's a blue girl I'm a pink.

I went with the Hibiscus. Fiesta Pink is pretty , but, I don't want to worry about chipping and they weigh to much to be sitting on the couch with on your lap. LOL

Cuisinart is # 2 in mixers and other small kitchen stuff, oval pressure cookers, Power XL indoor grill, Wolfgang Puck has good stuff too.

OXO makes good gadges mainly at Bed & Bath

@SharkE   I got several last summer in pretty spring and summer patterns at our local grocery store at 75% off.  I love them for a quick snack, or sandwich.  I put a few under a few plants also.

I try to scan LTS too.  Always good to see the bargains!  Thanks for sharing.

Yuck. Nothing more unhealthy than eating on plastic plates. NOT made in this country is even more disgusting.

@ID2 My mother has survived right at 100 years and we ate off of a lot of plastic.  She really doesn't have anything wrong except she is almost 100.

It's silly to say there is nothing more unhealthy than eating on plastic plates.

I used to love and have melamine plates. They are lightweight and colorful.

Then I read that when exposed to heat or just constant use they release toxins that can cause kidney stones and should never be used with babies and children.

You can look it up and there is lots of info on this.

So sadly I don't use it anymore.

I have a set of melamine plates and bowls from Costco and also the large bowl and platter. I don't put them in the microwave but we use them on the patio when we eat outside. Great quality.

I bought some Eco plates and bowls from HSN that can't go in the microwave but they are a pretty lilac and the plates lunch and dinner have a tall lip around them which I love. Got them on clearance and free shipping.
