ROFL Hey girl, I'm a Tx transplat from Ind. These folks down here put on sweaters when it gets 70` they crack me up. I don't miss the ice and snow, lost power, etc. I doubt if the smoker will get much use when it dips to cold. LOL

Rain is about the only thing I won't cook in, it's cold, wet, and miserable. Not like the warm rain you probably get. I know growing up in ND the rain was warm and we could play in it. I have never seen a kid play in the rain here.

What's rain? LOL we got a huge lot this whole yr. so far we've had 18 inchs for the yr. that's a big deal. We put in a sprinkler system because our yard looked like a cut field. LOL In the Spring up in Ind. you have to mow twice a week till it settles down. Down here, using a sprinkler you mow maybe once a week just to keep up with the neighbors LOL

You can plan stuff and not worry about it, because no fear of rain. LOL Worse off then us is Phoenix, AZ and parts of Cal. tragic for those poor folks.

Amarillo?- me too! So nice to see someone from home post here - and yes it does get cold.
