I use Ball canning jars for storage also I have for years I have all sizes jars
brown sugar never gets hard or clumpy in the jars I use them for everything I can green beans, vegetable soup, peppers, jellies , tomatoes and make refrigerator pickles in them also
I have a lot of the half gallon size jars I even store leftovers in the refrigerator in the jars if they fit
I’ve served iced tea in the jars
I buy the easy wash off labels where the jars are in Walmart to label the date and contents on the jars for easy storage in the pantry
I love using canning jars
