Why does he constantly wear that hat?  We know he's bald and I don't think many care that he is.

He certainly marches to his own drummer--especially in how he looks and dresses.

My husband is not bald and he hardly takes his hat off.

•Take one bald head, add studio lights, get glare!

•Powder down bald head, cut glare.

•Sweat thru powder, get glare plus runny lines and (eww!) sweat dripping into a foody presentation.

•Cover bald head with a hat, get thru the presentation without glare or having to stop and mop the sweat.

....or do they rub anti-perspirant on their head? hmm...

Re: Mark Charles

I know many men with and without hair that always wear a hat.  I suppose it is part of who they are and their style.

Jeanne Bruce and Kathy the Breezies Lady wore a headband.

It doesn't bother me, nor do I care why they do so

edited because I remembered Kathy's name.

Maybe he just likes wearing it.  I bet he does not care what any one of us thinks.

I think I'd rather see a hat than a combover.  Some of the combovers I see are just - well, silly looking.  I especially don't get the ones that comb it all straight forward from the back.

I was just thinking about this, yesterday, that if I were a guy and started going bald I think it would really bother me a lot.  I know it doesn't for everybody but I'm sure it's just awful for some guys.
