I have been watching the Hays eaglecam so I see the weather there. YIKES! Plus that seems to be all anyone on FB is talking about these days.

We are very very thankful that we had the means to move to Florida in the first place and to be able to come home to the burgh for the summers in our camper. We don't know how long that will last for us but in the end , we will be here in the Florida sunshine. My cousin , who lives in State College, (double BBRR) tried to make reservations to come down to Sarasota for a few days and could not get a room anywhere. They couldn't stay here because we already had company so they couldn't come and in the end they went to Puerto Rico instead. She said it was gorgeous there.

I will be making New England clam chowder today since DH is coming home late, don't want to be at the stove at that time.

Your soup sounds delicious, HappyHousewife.

There is nothing like a good pot of soup when the weather is cold.

I do like you do and just throw into my soup whatever spices and veggies I have on hand from the freezer, so one pot of soup from the next never really turns out quite the same, unless I am actually following a specific recipe for sure.

Enjoy your soup. I bet that it is going to taste as good as it sounds! Smile
