The one that is for breaking up ground beef when cooking or on the other end, you can mash up things like egg salad or potatoes.

Make fast and easy job of your ground meat cooking with no strain on your wrist with this great gadget.  I was So Sure I did NOT need it.

After reading on here from another poster, I got it, and so happy I did!!!!

Re: Love Curtis Stone Gadget!!

I agree.  I have his set of cookware and many of the gadgets.  I love this masher because I have arthritis and it does a great job of breaking up the meat.  Also the handle covers for your fry pans.  The only problem I have is the baking sheets.  I have used the big ones and had no problem but the smaller version have scratched.  I returned and received new ones and now the small one scratched again.  He says you can use metal utensils and I usually don't.  But, this last cookie batch, after using his spatula the pan scratched.  Oh well.  But his cookware is wonderful.

@Monketoes  I also have his countertop lid holder I keep on my stove  #337-110, works great.  When you need to take the lid off a pan it sits on the holder and also catches any liquids.

Chop on one end & mash on the other.

I had that thing and although it's a great idea and works well, I found it would move all over the stove and eventually end up touching the flame and it got partially melted!  So I had to toss it for fear of burning down my kitchen.  The meat masher thing looks good but I just use a potato masher.

That thing looks interesting, but every time I look at it I envision pressing down on the blade end with my open palm to mash something with the perforated end. Seems as if it would hurt. Do you use the mashing end, and if you do, can you apply serious pressure without pressing down on the blade end? How does that work?
