Yawn
The plus side of that is I am a fan of kitchen shows so its 24 hours of kitchen shows unfortunately 10 hours of that, well 9 according to the program guide is dediciated to Vitamix but David always does at least a half hour during his show, probably an hour so 10 hours of that is dedicated to a blender we have all seen a gazillion times.
I bought a Vitamix, Used it exactly twice and never used it again. It costs a fortune to buy the ingredients to make anything decent and it soooooooooooo noisy. This is one of the purchases from QVC I regret the most.
I will be watching the other shows though but I will turn off Vitamix thanks

yeah, I had a blender like that . Made in Australia, one of the top brands was gonna make my own healthy fruit juices (Breville) by the time you bought the fruit, prepared it for the blender, listened to the jet engine noise,
cleaned up the pulp mess and put pieces in dishwasher.
I just went out and bought mine. Did taste a lot better, but, you have to drink it right now, if put in refrigerator don't look too appetizing.

@Miss Pepsi We use ours all the time and it has helped us use up things like fruits and veggies that might otherwise go bad.
We used up a banana and four peaches yesterday in a smoothie. Otherwise they would have gone bad before we used them. We also put in leftover veggies sometimes too and you can't tell they are in there. So we're getting our money's worth from things like that.
Or we freeze greens and fruits that might be thrown out if we don't use them as planned and they go in smoothies too.
We would order another one immediately if it goes out. We use it all the time. It's more than 10 years old I think, a 5200 model.

I had one from 1980 that my mom bought--used it for several years as she couldn't anymore then found that replacing the parts was too pricy and hard to find so bought a new one about 3 years ago and use it nearly every day. Worth every penny to me. bought the dry container and grind up my own specialty flours too-----

I had a blender years ago. Don't even know what happened to it. Probaby used it less than a dozen times. Have never had even a moment's interest in owning one of the pricey blenders or processors so often featured on QVC, nor in watching the endless programming and demonstrations. An easy pass for me and it goes without saying, I won't be tuning in.

I also made the mistake of buying a Vitamix from QVC. I've only used it a handful of times. My husband likes to make smoothies and he found a small blender similar to a Ninja on Amazon. It's manufactured by Herrchef.
It makes just enough for a small drink for him. It's very easy to clean and very compact for storage.
The Vitamix being so large doesn't fit under my counter. I have to keep the bottom part separate from the top part. So for now it's just stored in the cabinet.
It was an expensive mistake and I wish I had taken more time to think before I bought it.
A less expensive Ninja would have served the same purpose.

I like to watch it make peanut butter, but, still like Great Value brand better and Biscoff butter.

I make a smoothie a couple times a week, perhaps an occasional experiment making peanut butter, and that's about it. But I think the Vitamix was a good purchase for me because I used to burn out blenders frequently.
