In an effort to raise my HDL blood level, I want to eat chocolate. I've tried a few brands of 70%+ chocolate candy and none taste very good to me. They are rather like eating wax. At the moment, I am eating a 72% cacao Ghirardelli "Intense Dark" chocolate, but really, I don't want to waste calories on something that isn't good.
I realize that 70%+ chocolate isn't going to taste sweet, but are there any that have a creamier texture and really taste like chocolate? This Ghirardelli one leaves a chocolate taste in my mouth after I swallow it, but not while it is in my mouth.
